Happy Thanksgiving!

This colorful Thanksgiving turkey demonstrates the many things that my students are thankful for in their lives. Some of their answers were: family, friends, teachers, shoes, clothes, food, shelter, and toys. We had a lot of fun creating this turkey. Happy Thanksgiving!

Exploring Parks with Ranger Dockett

This week, we have been exploring the characteristics that make up an urban park such as Central Park. In the anthology, the students have been learning about what a day in the life of a park ranger is like. We have also created and decorated a recycling box in our very own classroom. Go Green!

Dear students,

As we close the school year

I have to say

It's been a real pleasure

teaching you each day.

From start to finish

you've achieved so much.

Reach for the stars

and you will see

all the great things

you were meant to be!

Have a happy and safe summer! =)

Wrapping up the year...
